2nd Annual United to Read was a home-run!
Reading is the building block for success in school, work and life.
On November 9th, 150 volunteers across our County read to over 3,500 elementary children. Each volunteer was placed in a first grade classroom and read “Last Stop on Market Street”. After volunteers read the book, students participated in a correlated activity. Join us in raising awareness of the importance of early literacy and celebrate reading!
