2020 Day of Caring Presented by King Construction Registration Link is now LIVE!

September 16, 2020 by Heather Downing

United Way of Horry County’s 27th annual Day of Caring will be held on Friday, October 9th, 2020. While we will be taking precautions this year, we are still able to help out our community. Instead of meeting and having breakfast, volunteers are to report at their designated site by 8am to begin their volunteer projects for the day. Volunteer T-shirts will be distributed to workplaces or can be picked up at the United Way of Horry County office as soon as they are available.

Sign up to volunteer here: https://unitedwayhorry.org/day-of-caring-2020/

United Way of Horry County has decided on 13 projects with activities including painting, landscaping, power washing, compiling PPE kits, and other beautification projects. Projects will be completed at local organizations including: A Father’s Place, Churches Assisting People, Community Kitchen, North Strand Housing Shelter, Family Outreach of Horry County, Rape Crisis Center, Little River Medical Center, New Directions Men’s Shelter, Catholic Charities’ Clean of Heart, Horry County Council on Aging, Habitat for Humanity of Horry County, Neighbor to Neighbor, and United Way of Horry County.
