Community Resource Coordinator

A Connection to Long-Term Stability

The Community Resource Coordinator (CRC) program is our signature strategy for achieving our Bold Goals in self-sufficiency.

Our Community Resource Coordinator provides intensive case management by assessing clients’ strengths and needs, making referrals, helping them develop goals, and coaching them on their path to financial stability.

Lauren’s Story – How She Received Help Through Our CRC Program

How Does the Program Work?

Sometimes, all you need is to be pointed in the right direction or connected to the right resource. We have embedded our Community Resource Coordinator in communities throughout Horry County, particularly across rural areas, to serve populations in great need of economic mobility support. Through this model, we can meet individuals and families where they are on the journey to becoming self-sufficient.

Some issues that our CRC may be able to assist with include:

  • Financial Counseling
  • Housing
  • Education
  • Transportation
  • Employment
  • Tax Preparation

Please note: CRCs do NOT provide emergency financial assistance. If you are seeking financial assistance for rent, utilities, etc., we encourage you to reach out to 2-1-1 to see what services might be available in our community to help.
