End-of-Year Giving with United Way of Horry County

2020 has been a year that no one could predict. We have had to change the functions of our daily lives to help protect the health and wellbeing of our community.

At United Way of Horry County, we have organized efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic in attempt to relieve some of the burden that our neighbors in Horry County face. We helped organize, fund, and recruit volunteers for 22 mass food distributions in Horry County, assembled Personal Protection Equipment kits for SC DHEC and organizations in our community, created COVID-19 ancillary kits for SC DHEC’s coronavirus vaccine, and more.

While these practices were needed, UWHC is not stopping efforts to help improve access to health, education, and financial stability during this time. The need is greater now more than ever.

As the end of 2020 quickly approaches and we pause in gratitude amidst the hustle and bustle, consider making an end-of-year contribution to United Way of Horry County.

Feeling grateful for a warm home, health insurance, or food for your holiday merriment? Glad you can pay all your bills and still have something left over at the end of the month?  Then, perhaps you’ll want to consider a generous year-end gift, a gift that will create a lasting impact well into 2021 for families and individuals in our community.

Turn your holiday into something larger this year by helping create a future that works well for everyone. Light up a life with your generosity – and light up your own in the process. There are many ways you can give back this holiday season:
