2020 – 2021 Campaign Update
Thank you to all who donated to this year’s campaign.
This year, UWHC’s goal is to raise $950,000 to improve access to health, education, and financial stability for every person in Horry County. Thus far, our community has pledged $802,102.53. That is 84.4% of our total goal!
We are still waiting to receive some of our final workplace campaign results. The final amount raised will be announced soon! While the 2020 – 2021 campaign has ended, we are still raising money to support those in need in Horry County. Consider supporting your neighbors and donating today.
Join Us for Day of Action Dine United!
On Monday, June 21st, join in support of Horry County Restaurants.
By dining at participating restaurants, you are not only supporting our local eateries, but you are also making an impact on health, education, and financial stability across Horry County.
We are currently still recruiting local restaurants to participate in Dine United. Contact Michelle Bessett, Michelle@unitedwayhorry,org if you are interested!

May Day Bags
Thank you to everyone who donated to this year’s May Day Bag program. We raised over $6,000 to provide over 800 seniors with wellness bags of essential items.
Our packing party was held on Wednesday, April 28th in Conway. We had so much fun filling the bags and giving them to our participating agencies. We hope they brighten the homebound seniors’ day!
Thank you to United Community Bank, Grand Strand Health, Pruitt Health, Horry Telephone Cooperative Inc., Boulineau’s and all of our corporate sponsors.
Camp United
Camp United begins on June 23rd at Loris Elementary School. This four week program targets rising first and second grade Loris Elementary students who are not reaching their goals in math or reading.
Thank you to Tidelands Health and Waccamaw Community Foundation for making this program possible.
Volunteer Drop-In Celebration
