Food Distribution Volunteers Needed

UWHC is recruiting volunteers for food distributions from now until the end of the year. If you are interested, please visit our website for a full list of dates. If you have a group interested in volunteering, please email Heather at Heather@unitedwayhorry.org.

2022 Moon & Stars Reception

Last month, UWHC held our annual Moon and Stars reception at the Franklin G. Burroughs-Simeon B. Chapin Art Museum to honor our Tocqueville and Crescent Society members. The event was an exclusive evening to celebrate and share the launch of our Community Game Plan. We would like to thank The Jackson Companies for their generous sponsorship of the evening and Kilwin’s Chocolate and Benjamin’s Bakery for their kind gifts.

The Tocqueville and Crescent Societies, chaired by Dennis Wade, are a dynamic and caring group of citizens who make a commitment to invest in the change in Horry County. It was formed to recognize and connect those who make a higher level of commitment to lead the way in improving lives in our community. If you are interested in learning more about our Tocqueville and Crescent Societies, please reach out to Tina, our Director of Philanthropy, to learn more.
