New to the area—or just new to giving back? You’re in the right place.
Newcomers United is a welcoming group created by United Way of Horry County for people who are ready to get involved—whether you’ve recently relocated to the Grand Strand or are simply looking for new ways to engage with your community.
This program offers a friendly starting point for those who want to meet others, understand local challenges, and contribute their time, skills, or resources.
Together, we’re working to support early education in Horry County, with a special focus on kindergarten readiness. By joining Newcomers United, you’ll help strengthen the future of our community—while finding purpose and connection along the way.
Registration is ongoing; anyone can join at any time! Check our Newcomers United page for upcoming meetings and for more information.
