About United Way of Horry County
To unite people, ideas, and resources to advance the common good in Horry County.
An equitable community where opportunity is not limited, and every member reaches their full potential.
Our Statement on Diversity
Since its founding in 1973, United Way of Horry County has fought for the health, education, and financial stability of every person in our community no matter their identity, experience, or background. We believe that being an inclusive organization and bringing diverse individuals together allows us to more equitably address the issues that face our community more. We improve lives by mobilizing the caring power of our communities and this is most effectively accomplished when we are inclusive of all and value the unique perspectives a diverse base of agencies, volunteers, partners, employees, and board members bring to this invaluable work.
Diversity and inclusion are at the heart of what it means to LIVE UNITED. Read more about our diversity, equity, and inclusion principles here.
