Community Resiliency
Creating a Stronger, More Resilient Community
Everyone deserves the security of knowing their basic needs will be met. Through collaboration, we work to ensure access to food, shelter, clothing, transportation, and healthcare — building a community that can respond to today’s challenges and prepare for tomorrow.
Today we observe Juneteenth: a celebration of freedom and a reminder of the work still ahead 💪
As we honor this day, we recommit to our mission: advancing equity and opportunity for every person in Horry County so we can all THRIVE! ❤️
Our office is closed today, June 19, and will reopen Monday, June 22 at 9 am.

Horry County, this one is for YOU 💙
The Community Baby Shower was a true picture of locals helping locals, and it took a whole community to pull it off!
A heartfelt thank you to:
🏫 Conway Elementary, Ms. Davis and Mr. Willie, for hosting our event
🍽️ Richard Williams at Food Lion, for feeding us
🚚 Greg and Robert with TWO MEN AND A TRUCK, for storing, sorting, loading and unloading every single donated item
🛒 Conway Walmart on Church Street, for hosting both of our Fill the Truck days and donating SO many amazing items
🎁 Sandra James, Stephanie Warren, Pam Wright, Pam Hughes, Laura Hunnicutt and Katrina White, for donating gift cards and raffle prizes
🎈 Kristin Smith with V'Amore Creations and Designs, for our beautiful balloon art
And finally, YOU, Horry County! Every single person who walked through the doors of Walmart, stopped to donate a little cash, or picked up one (or many!) items off our shopping list, YOU were the reason this event was such a success 💙 ... See MoreSee Less
