Community Resiliency
Creating a Stronger, More Resilient Community
Everyone deserves the security of knowing their basic needs will be met. Through collaboration, we work to ensure access to food, shelter, clothing, transportation, and healthcare — building a community that can respond to today’s challenges and prepare for tomorrow.
Our President Blakely Roof is proud to be on the steering committee for Collaborate2031, a new countywide initiative focused on bringing people together to help guide the future of Horry County.
This effort is all about collaboration (something we at UWHC know all about!) — aligning ideas, identifying opportunities and making sure we’re planning thoughtfully as our region continues to grow.
Community input is a big part of the process, and residents are encouraged to share their perspectives through the Collaborate2031 survey.
We invite all our community partners to learn more and share your input at www.Collaborate2031.com 🤝
