Navigating Resources With a Community Coordinator

Our Community Resource Coordinators (CRCs) help residents find and access the services they need to stay stable and supported. We have multiple CRCs, each focused on a specific population and set of challenges.

Incarceration & Reintegration

SMART Reentry Coordinator Nelvina Jones supports individuals impacted by incarceration by connecting them to reentry resources, employment support, and community services. Her work focuses on successful reintegration, reducing barriers, and helping individuals and families build stable, productive futures.

Crisis Intervention

The Crisis Intervention Community Resource Coordinator (CI CRC) serves the area of Horry County with the greatest need. This role helps low- and no-income families access the resources that make a real difference: meeting critical needs, navigating crises, and building a path toward stability through wrap-around case management.

They work closely with each client to assess their situation, coordinate care, and connect them with the right community services and support. By partnering with local law enforcement and community organizations, this role helps ensure no one falls through the cracks.
