United Way of Horry County is now accepting appointments for our Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) sites. These sites are for free tax preparation for qualifying individuals or households who earned $56,000 or less in 2020.
You can begin scheduling your appointment by calling the United Way of Horry County office at 843-347-5195 ext 1. Leave your name, number, and a brief message and a staff member will return your call within 24 business hours. Please note that you must speak with a United Way of Horry County staff member to schedule and confirm your appointment. Leaving a voice message does not mean you have a scheduled appointment.
No walk-ins will be allowed at any VITA location, NO EXCEPTIONS.
Please complete and print the following intake form and bring it with you, along with your other tax documents, to your VITA appointment.
