To help our community overcome unprecedented times, we are uniting together to combat food scarcity.
United Way of Horry County has partnered with Lowcountry Food Bank to organize food distribution events throughout Horry County. These distributions are set up to help those during the COVID-19 pandemic who are facing food insecurities. We want to be able to support our neighbors and give back in any way we can.
Volunteers should dress appropriately for the weather – bring hats if needed, and a mask. Please bring water and wear closed-toed shoes. Volunteers must be able to lift at least 25lbs. There will be access to a restroom at each site.
Friday, November 13th: Loris Middle School 5209 SC-66, Loris, SC. Volunteers would need to arrive by 8:30am and the distribution is scheduled to begin at 9:30am.
Friday, November 13th: Aynor Elementary School 516 Jordanville Road, Aynor, SC. Volunteers would need to arrive by 10:30am and the distribution is scheduled to begin at 11:30am.
