Collaboration
United Way of Horry County brings partners together to strengthen services, share resources, and solve community issues as a team. Our collaboration work includes grant programs that support nonprofit capacity, direct service expansion, and joint projects through HC3, our Horry County Community Collaborative. Through these efforts we help organizations work together instead of working in silos, making it easier for families to get consistent and reliable support across the county.
HC3
The Horry County Community Collaborative (HC3) is a partnership of more than 60 community organizations like nonprofits, government agencies, hospitals, and more, united by a shared vision: to ensure that all Horry County residents have equitable opportunities to improve their quality of life. HC3 convenes monthly to strengthen collaboration, share resources, and make a lasting impact across Horry County.

Why It Matters
We believe stronger nonprofits lead to stronger communities. By investing in infrastructure and services together, we reuse resources, avoid duplication, and ensure help reaches those who need it most.
Community Game Plan
The Community Game Plan is the foundation for how United Way of Horry County sets priorities and directs resources. It is built through local data, community conversations, partner input, and ongoing feedback from residents across Horry County. The goal is simple: create a shared plan that guides our work, strengthens partnerships, and leads to measurable improvement in the lives of the people we serve.
The new 2026 Game Plan focuses on four main areas: Youth Opportunity, Healthy Community, Financial Security, Community Resiliency.
