Food Distribution
To help our community overcome unprecedented times, we are uniting together to combat food insecurity.
United Way of Horry County has partnered with Lowcountry Food Bank to organize volunteers to assist with food distribution events throughout Horry County. These distributions are set up to help those who are facing food insecurities. We want to be able to support our neighbors and give back in any way we can.
Volunteers should dress appropriately for the weather – bring hats if needed. Please bring water and wear closed-toed shoes. Volunteers must be able to lift at least 25 lbs. There will be access to a restroom at each site. The times spent at each location will vary by location.
We currently do not have any food distributions scheduled for volunteers.
The information above is for volunteers assisting with food distribution events. Please visit our food resources page if you need food or additional information.
