United Way of Horry County (UWHC) is proud to announce Christy Everett as our new board chair, succeeding John Rowe, III of South Atlantic Bank.
Everett is the Chief Operating Officer at Grand Strand Water & Sewer Authority. She brings a wealth of community service to the board, having been involved with UWHC for several years, among many other organizations in Horry County.
“We are incredibly fortunate that UWHC consistently attracts dedicated individuals who donate their time and talent to our organization,” said President and CEO Blakely Roof. “These community leaders are committed to our mission of uniting people, ideas and resources to advance the common good in Horry County. We are grateful for their service as they lead us to address the area’s top concerns and fill gaps in services of need.”
