Coastal Carolina University United Way Campaign
Make an Impact Through CCU’s Giving Campaign
The first Coastal Carolina University United Way of Horry County Giving Campaign was run in 1973 by Dr. Edward M. “Dick” Singleton. Since then, CCU faculty and staff have raised over $100,000 for United Way of Horry County. The money raised has been invested directly into Horry County to support the needs of our residents and community.
CCU faculty, staff, and students have also devoted thousands of volunteer hours to support the efforts of United Way and its mission to unite people, ideas, and resources to advance the common good in Horry County.
Since its inception, United Way of Horry County has invested over $45 million back into our community with the help of workplace giving campaigns. By donating through payroll deduction, you can contribute a small amount each pay period that will make a huge impact on the lives of so many in our community.
