Community Champion Week
Community Champion Week happens in early summer across Horry County. Staff and board members drop by and surprise each business and one resident who has been giving for 3 consecutive years and has made the largest percent pledge increase in their sector.
Sectors are categories that businesses are classified under. We have 9 sectors that we recognize for Community Champion Week: Industries, Public Service, Inland Business, Myrtle Beach Business, North Strand Business, South Strand Business, Professionals, Residential, and New Business This year was the first year that we introduced the New Business category. This winner pledged the highest amount amongst all of the new business donors.
