Join United Way of Horry County and Black River United Way on Thursday, November 17th, 2016 from 10AM-11AM for a new literacy event launching this Fall! On this day, over 300 volunteers across, Horry, Georgetown, and Williamsburg Counties will be reading to over 300 elementary classrooms. Horry County will have a focus on all first grade classrooms! Please consider signing up to read to a classroom in your community.
United Way of Horry County’s 2016 Day of Caring is scheduled for September 9th!
Over 300 volunteers work together on projects at our community partner organizations on the same day at the same time!! The projects can include everything from major construction to cleaning and organizing.
